Manager’s Ideal Candidate Must-Haves
- React, Redux expertise including unit testing frameworks, Jest, Karma etc.
- NodeJS ecosystem expertise, including API development.
- HTML, CSS, ES6 expertise
- Experience with Karma, Jest etc
- Prior experience with large scale web applications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- J2EE experience
- AngularJS 1.x
- Formal education in Computer Science.
- Assists in providing guidance to small groups of three to four engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up with high level design
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
- Operational excellence mindset towards system monitoring and recovery
What you’ll do:
- The Partner tools teams develop web tools for Walmart’s partners (suppliers, sellers) that enable them to do business with Walmart.
- As a Senior Software Engineer on the web tools team, you will contribute to building capabilities aligned with business strategy that allow efficient on-boarding, setup, workflow, ongoing maintenance, and analytics for partners.
- You will work on cutting edge Javascript based technologies to develop maintainable, performant, and elegant features in an Agile, incremental fashion.
- You will also develop components and modules that add to the pool of re-usable, and platform capabilities for the UI teams. Additionally you will own subsystems, mentor junior developers, and participate in cross team solutions for larger features.
