Qualifications:
- 2+ years designing digital products in an Agile software environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally with developers and UX designers.
- Portfolio of work that displays design, high-fidelity animation, motion, iconography, typography, color, and imagery.
- Proficiency with Cinema 4D, Octane, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid understanding of particle systems (X-particles, Particular, etc.).
- Experience working on all parts of the production pipeline (design, animation, compositing).
- Solid understanding of lighting and raytracing techniques in 3D applications.
- Proficiency in creating and editing existing materials, shaders, and textures.
- Experience with rigging 3D objects with IK chains and bones.
- Experience with building dynamic hard/soft body simulations.
- Knowledge of film, video, and photography principles.
- Introspection, humility, maturity, excellent communication skills, and strong systematic problem-solving ability.
- Experience with look development and animation in Unreal Engine is a huge plus.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Create animations for in-vehicle screens
- Create exploratory animations, demos, prototypes and micro-animations
- Cross collaborate with other designers, developers, and branding teams
- Following through on design details and working toward fit-and-finish polish
- Annotate animations for developers to execute
- Maintain a motion design language
